Pre-Paleo

Pre-Paleo is not a pretty time.

I used to be a size 8 about half-way through college.  Then I got into a relationship and gained that "happy relationship" weight.  You know...when you're happy, so you don't worry about what you're eating or how you look.  "Happy relationship" weight took me to an unhappy point in my relationship; I wasn't happy with my weight, and my boyfriend wasn't happy that I wasn't showing the willpower to drop down to the weight I so desperately wanted.  No bueno.

So as I'm writing this, I'm at a size...well...bigger than I want to be.  It's not hideous, but it's not happy either.  My boyfriend has been following the Paleo diet and incorporating a lot of Crossfit/SEALfit workouts into his routine for the past 2-3 months and is kicking butt with it, and after a really unpleasant "come to Jesus" moment, I realized it's time for me to stop wanting and start acting.

Again, no bueno.  It's okay--I'm on my way to the me I want to be!
